The Continental AERO 111 Foldable Clincher Tyre represents a new benchmark in aerodynamic tyre design, created in partnership with DT Swiss and the aero experts at Swiss Side. Its groundbreaking, aerodynamically optimised tread pattern is engineered to slice through the air more efficiently than any Continental tyre before it. The tread incorporates 48 precisely shaped, vortex-producing cavities that generate controlled turbulence, helping airflow remain attached to the wheel for longer. The result is noticeably reduced aerodynamic drag and improved stability in crosswinds.
Continental’s race-tuned BlackChili compound delivers an exceptional combination of grip and low rolling resistance, ensuring confident handling in both wet and dry conditions. Borrowing proven technology from the GP5000 range, the Aero 111 also features the patented Vectran Breaker layer for outstanding protection against sharp objects, all while preserving rapid rolling performance.
Every Aero 111 tyre is tubeless-ready, offering versatility for different setups. Riders can choose between tubeless with sealant or a traditional inner tube.
